On est une famille, deux frères au centre de la place : Mike en cuisine, Tim au bar. En juin 2025, on a repris le bâtiment qui abritait Le Baril Roulant, à Val-David, dans les Laurentides, à environ une heure de Montréal, et on l'a remis debout à notre façon. Un pub en bas, sept chambres en haut, et la même idée partout : recevoir les gens comme il faut. On n'a rien inventé, on l'a juste fait pour vrai.

La cuisine.
Mike fait une carte courte parce qu'il la fait au complet, des marinades au sticky toffee. Fish & chips à la pâte légère, steak avec chimichurri, ailes qui croquent vraiment. Tim tient le bar, les pintes et les bouteilles qui valent le détour. Un pub sans bonne pinte, ça commence mal. Ici, ça commence bien.
La terrasse est ouverte.
La rivière en face, la piste à deux pas, plus de cent places quand tout est ouvert. Quand il fait beau, c'est ici qu'on veut être : une pinte, un fish & chips, et pas trop pressé de repartir.
Restez pour la nuit.
Restez deux ou trois nuits. Marchez le village, roulez le P'tit Train du Nord, montez à Tremblant, puis revenez souper en bas. Pas de navette, pas de casse-tête : votre table est ici, votre chambre aussi.
