A restaurant near Sainte-Agathe? We're ten minutes away

By Tim Robertson·on October 7, 2026

I'll be honest, we're not in Sainte-Agathe. We're in Val-David, about ten minutes away by car. But if you're looking for dinner around here, it's worth the short drive.

There's even a bit of Sainte-Agathe on the plate. Our burger bun comes from Boulangerie Graintitude, Maryse's bakery in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts. The beef is local and fresh, the patty is thick, served medium, pink in the middle. Her bread already makes the trip up here, so ten minutes the other way is very doable.

It's a pub, yes, but it's a proper restaurant too. Beer-battered haddock fish and chips. The steak of the moment, whatever Mike finds that week. Private import wines, house cocktails that change often. The menu is short. On purpose.

One practical note: we're closed Wednesdays and Thursdays, and we take a break from November 1 to 26, back Friday November 27. The rest of the time, we're here. And if it gets late, there are seven rooms upstairs.

Book on OpenTable or just come by. We're right next door.
