MacTaverne is not just the pub. Upstairs there are seven rooms, each with a private bathroom and breakfast included, and the Rivière du Nord runs right across the road. Looking for a hotel in Val-David? We're smaller and warmer: a little inn above a pub. Dinner downstairs, bed upstairs. That's our kind of luxury. And let's be honest, the second pint makes a lot more sense when the bed is just up the stairs.
We wanted two things under one roof: a lively pub downstairs and real rooms upstairs. Not a hotel floor parked on top of a restaurant. Seven rooms, no more. Enough to host people, not enough to become anonymous. Simple, cared for, welcoming.

A queen bed and a single bed, private bathroom. Ideal for two adults and one child.
Twin room
Two single beds, private bathroom. Ideal for two friends or two travellers.

Three nights. Bikes available. Recommended routes on Le P'tit Train du Nord and Mont-Condor. Dinner every evening at the taverne.
Ski + fireside escape
Tremblant by day · taverne by night · nightcap by the fire
Two or three nights. Tremblant is 30 minutes by car. Warm dinner at the taverne. Whisky by the fire when you get back.
