## The pub

Food is British-inspired and made on site. ## The terrasse

MacTaverne has a large riverside terrasse in Val-David, directly on Le P'tit Train du Nord cycling and walking trail and across from the Rivière du Nord. It is big, not intimate: more than a hundred seats when fully open. It is open almost every evening in season; only a storm or heavy rain stops service, and even then some seats are sheltered. MacTaverne hosts private dinners, corporate retreats, milestone birthdays, family reunions, and retirement parties. The private room seats up to 20, a full pub buyout seats up to 60 (90 standing), and the whole inn sleeps up to 14. MacTaverne does not host weddings.
